Many moons ago the Goddess Guatavita, a woman of great wisdom, wanted to transmit her profound knowledge to the Muisca people. One night, illuminated by the full moon and the stars, she arrived in these lands in the form of a great emerald and here, inside the mountains, she stayed to live.
